Working alongside the architectural firm Techne, IBL Lighting fixtures helped bring a sense of connectedness and commonality to the Garden State Hotel in Flinders Lane, Melbourne. The lights helped bring together a variety of different spaces, and aimed to accent the furniture or feature pieces, whilst bringing a soft glow to common areas. Jonny Mitchell, the Senior Interior Designer from Techne, described the lights as “more of a sculptural installation … you’re actually getting a sense of the space changing with the lighting design.”
