Going to the movies is not what it used to be. Now patrons expect the full hospitality experience that was traditionally reserved for bars and bistros. That’s exactly what’s on offer in the south of Sydney at Event Cinemas, Miranda. With lighting design by Electrolight, the aim was to produce a club-style atmosphere, using textured curtains, indirect cove light, special custom pendants and seating areas at and around the bar. The hospitality areas lead seamlessly into the cinema foyer, allowing for a cohesive and classy experience.
